Q1. How can you purchase tickets from Civic Hall?

A. Reserve tickets online from the website. Click here.

B. Tickets may be purchased by calling 765-973-3350 or fax your order to 765-973-3346.

C. Mail your order to the Civic Hall Box Office, 380 Hub Etchison Parkway, Richmond, Indiana 47374

D. Email your ticket order to us through our Contact Form.

E. Visit the box office during regular business hours (8:30-noon and 1:00-4:00pm), Monday through Friday. The Box Office is closed during Richmond Community Schools’ breaks.

Q2. Can tickets be refunded?

Due to the fact that performing arts programs are subject to change, refunds are given only in the case of event cancellation or date change. Refunds are made to the original purchaser only.

Q3. Can tickets be exchanged?

Exchanges will be made for events bearing multiple performance times only. The original purchaser may exchange one performance time for another performance time within the same event.

Q4. Can tickets be mailed to patrons before the concert date?

Purchased tickets will be mailed to patrons up to five days before the event. The week prior to the event tickets will be held at the box office.

Q5. What if I lost my ticket?

Civic Hall box office can reprint lost tickets for season ticket patrons only.

Q6. What time do most events start?

Curtain times vary for each event. Please check your tickets for start times. Our staff makes every effort to open the outside lobby doors one hour before show time and inside seating doors 30 minutes before show time.

Q7. What if I am late to a program?

According to artist contractual agreements, patrons who arrive late may be asked to wait in the lobby and will be seated at the first appropriate break in the program. We make every attempt to begin each performance on time.

Q8. Can I take pictures/video during the performance?

Due to contractual agreements and as a courtesy to those around you, use of camera/video equipment is generally not permitted. Artists may permit cameras for specific concerts. Please be sure to silence cell phones and all electronic devices prior to the start of the performance.

Q9. Can groups buy tickets at a discount?

Group pricing is available for all Proudly Presenting Series programs. A group of 15 or more will be eligible for discounted prices. Please contact the box office for details and pricing for individual events.

Q10. Can gift certificates be purchased for shows?

Gift certificates can be purchased, contact the box office for details.

Q11. Is all of the parking at Civic Hall free?

Parking in front of the building and in the adjacent lot across from Civic Hall is free to patrons.

Q12. Are there handicapped parking spaces for patrons going to Civic Hall?

Handicapped parking is available at the entrance and exit of the circle drive in front of Civic Hall along Hub Etchison Parkway. Additional marked spaces are available across the street.

Q13. Can I get autographs from the Artists?

Autograph signing is determined by the Artist and varies between performers.

Q14. Does Civic Hall have an elevator for the balcony?

An elevator for patrons is not available for the balcony seating.

Q15. How can I support Civic Hall?

Support for Civic Hall can be made by becoming a Series Sponsor, program advertiser, or with a tax-deductible donation. More information is available on the Civic Hall website or call the box office.

Q17. What about special accommodations for patrons at Civic Hall?

Civic Hall has wheelchair accessible seating located on the main orchestra floor on each side of the main seating area. Booster seats are available for children at the box office. For hearing-impaired patrons we offer infrared listening systems at the box office. Please alert the box office as to any special needs at least two weeks prior to the event.

Q18. Are refreshments allowed in Civic Hall?

Refreshments are only allowed in the lobby of Civic Hall. Food and drinks are not allowed in the seating areas.

Q19. What is the seating capacity of Civic Hall Performing Arts Center?

The seating capacity in Civic Hall is 936 including the handicapped sections.

Q20. If I lost an item during a show, who do I ask?

All lost items are turned into the box office by the ushers on duty. Please check with the House Manager or an Usher for information.

Q21. Does my child need a ticket to see a performance?

A child will need a ticket if he/she occupies a seat. No ticket is needed if the child sits on the parent’s lap.
